Ettle Pty Ltd. launches AUDE, an Australian Dollar-backed stablecoin. It is in partnership with PKF Perth, The SILC Group, Algorand, and Ethereum for successful integration into the Australian economy.

According to an announcement in a media release on November 28, the Australian Fintech startup Ettle Pty Ltd. successfully launched the Australian stablecoin, AUDE. The company completed its first transaction using the coin before the announcement, assuring the usability of the fully-backed stablecoin. Ettle also expressed that the AUDE reserve is under an Australian Financial Services Licensed trustee, The SILC Group.

For AUDE’s successful launch, Ettle has been working with Meadow Labs for the pilot program tests. The completed transaction was between the two companies, with Meadow Labs utilizing Ettle’s self-service client portal to mint AUDE. It used the stablecoin to pay a contractor on Ethereum and Algorand blockchains, with close supervision by PKF Perth. Later, the contractor redeemed the coin for fiat into their accounts.

Ettle assures that similar methods to attest to the stablecoin’s reserves will come in handy in the future, using independent auditors. As for the stablecoin’s economic progress, Ettle hopes to improve its infrastructure to be available more widely in Q1 2023. Also, businesses seeking to access the digital AUD will be the first to leverage AUDE.

Integrating AUDE

Algorand is at the center of distributing the coin and handling its transactions. However, Ethereum will also be a great addition to the future of AUDE. Eventually, other blockchains will come into the mix when more use of the stablecoin comes into play. The more widely-used the coin will determine its future in Australia’s economy.

While using the much-expected help web 3.0 has to offer the future of digital assets and its ecosystem, Ettle hopes to create a successful, transparent, and secure stablecoin globally. Also, the blockchain will utilize Algorand’s architecture as the lifeline of AUDE, promoting Algorand’s robust network.

Unwavering support

Algorand and PKF Perth continue encouraging Ettle’s progression, appreciating their part in AUDE’s success. James Hill, Ettle’s CEO, believes web3’s progression stands in grounded stablecoin infrastructure. Its launch on the Australian Dollar’s stablecoin is one step towards improving its ecosystem on the same account.

PKF Perth’s partner Chris Roos also agrees that transparency within blockchains is the key to opening the doors for stablecoins. As such, the company’s role as an independent auditor and monitor of the stablecoin’s reserves works as part of building trust in blockchains. This way, the token’s issuing gains more credibility.
