The TRON Academy announces its sponsorship of the Princeton Blockchain Club, which is working towards building a thriving web3 native students’ community on campus.
The TRON DAO Academy Program announced its official sponsorship of the Princeton Blockchain Club. According to a tweet on January 30, the platform expressed its thrill to work with the Ivy League and its blockchain club in educating students on the future of blockchain. The Princeton Blockchain Club is a student body directing its efforts toward building a web3 native community in the University.
On the other hand, the TRON DAO Academy Program is an initiative providing an all-rounded blockchain education curriculum to enhance the future generation in the tech. Furthermore, it hopes for the best innovations from its students that could reshape the global sectors.
So far, the TRON Academy has partnered with Cornell Blockchain, Boston Hacks, Texas Blockchain, Dartmouth Blockchain, Michigan Crypto Investment Club, and Blockchain at UCI.
Other collaborations by TRON Academy
On January 26 and 27, TRON Academy held a web3 workshop hosted by Blockchain at UCI. In a tweet from January 27, TRON expressed its excitement due to a great turnout by the UCI students to learn more on web3. Furthermore, the workshop highlighted opportunities available in its ecosystem for development.
Another of its collaborations is a competition dedicated to research alongside the TRON Climate Initiative. The program encourages students interested in sustainable blockchain measures to research various topics to win a cash prize. Students can recommend eco-friendly solutions to blockchain’s environmental impacts.
The initiative will accept submissions from higher education student organizations officially from February. The first, second, and third cash prizes will be $1500, $1250, and $750, respectively. The fourth through tenth positions will get a $500 cash prize. Judging of the research papers will be in April 2023, while the announcement of the competition’s winners will be in May.
