The incubator will offer a range of services to its participants, including access to a network of industry professionals, funding opportunities, and mentorship from established web3 artists. The partnership seeks to provide a supportive environment for artists to experiment with new technologies and business models, and to help them bring their ideas to fruition.

“Web3 is still in its early days, and we see a lot of potentials for artists to make their mark in this space,” said Bash. “We believe that the decentralized nature of web3 can give artists greater control over their careers, and allow them to reach new audiences in ways that were not previously possible. With the support of this incubator, we hope to help artists turn their ideas into a reality.”
Collaboration with polygon
The incubator will run in partnership with Polygon, a leading provider of Ethereum infrastructure. Polygon will provide technical support and guidance to incubator participants, helping them to navigate the complexities of the web3 space and build successful projects.
“We are thrilled to be collaborating with Mastercard on this incubator,” said Sandeep Nailwal, Co-Founder of Polygon. “Web3 has the potential to revolutionize the way artists create and share their work, and we believe that this incubator will help to unleash that potential. We look forward to supporting the next generation of web3 artists and helping them to make their mark on the world.”
In the past year, Polygon has formed partnerships with other several major brands such as Instagram for the launch of the social media’s NFT marketplace. The marketplace allows users to mint and sell their NFTs on the platform.
Polygon also collaborated with CV Labs to usher in startups and business organizations in Africa to the former’s ecosystem. CV Labs noted the growth potential in Africa; countries like Nigeria, Egypt, and Kenya are at the frontlines of blockchain and crypto development.
Other former partnerships include Starbucks for its Odyssey digital collectible rewards program and Disney for its accelerator program, while also having major clothing brands like Prada and Adidas launch NFT projects through its blockchain.
The launch of the artist incubator is a significant step forward for the web3 space and is sure to be welcomed by artists and creatives looking to innovate and create within this exciting new world. With the support of Mastercard and Polygon, the incubator is well-positioned to help emerging web3 artists succeed and make their mark in the decentralized world of web3.
