The recent MEAACBA launch aims to provide extensive education and adoption of blockchain and crypto within Africa, the Middle East, and Asia.
The Middle East, Africa, and Asia Crypto & Blockchain Association (MEAACBA) is envisioning a better purpose for crypto and blockchain within the three regions. The association launched on November 8 in Abu Dhabi, UAE, putting forth objectives aligned with blockchain and crypto education and development.
The non-profit organization is among the groups invested in the regions as possible blockchain and crypto hubs. Furthermore, it recognizes itself as a driver of ecosystems linked with crypto and blockchain’s transparency, security, accessibility, and compliance.
Its team comprises known names within the industry, boasting relations with Binance, Crypto.com, Rain, and BitOasis. As crypto mining and investment become a major part of the practices within the regions, there is a need for more awareness. As such, MEAACBA intends to educate and drive research and development within member countries.
In turn, it will encourage the much-needed mass adoption within the blockchain and crypto industry. Also, with more understanding of what the industry entails, there can be balanced advantages for startups and investors.
MEAACBA and its future for blockchain and crypto
The MEAACBA board, led by Jehanzeb Awan, believes that extensive knowledge is crucial in siphoning the benefits offered by the space. Notably, its focus is on more than just the Middle East, Asia, and Africa. Its reach will benefit the global community, providing resources for all worldwide.
Therefore, MEAACBA plans to launch events, webinars, and courses from which crypto and blockchain enthusiasts can benefit. Not only will the population find inclusion and drive profits, but businesses will also find a way to thrive.
The organization hopes to collaborate with legal entities, governments, financial regulators, banks, and more for better results. Its Moon-shot Labs gives developers a platform for innovation to better the space. Other users can also contribute positive criticism necessary for the growth process.
BitOasis’ CEO, Ola Doudin, matches this idea, noting the growing interest in the industry within the region. Her idea is that exchanging views is the next step to the growth and future of blockchain and cryptocurrencies. Therefore, the industry can expect unprecedented expansion over the years, with more to offer users and businesses.
UAE’s dedication to blockchain development
MEAACBA’s launch preceded the Abu Dhabi financial week held between November 14 and 18. UAE remains a great investor in blockchain and crypto, with the Abu Dhabi Global Market (ADGM) supporting MEAACBA. In turn, favorable financial regulations will ensure a safe approach toward crypto development.
UAE’s significant steps include the Dubai Blockchain Strategy, meant to capitalize on the industry for the region’s gain. This element is especially important in the blockchain industry, which still faces regulatory issues. Working with MEAACBA will be an added advantage to the organization’s progression.
The non-profit welcomes stakeholders within exchanges, consultancy firms, developers, crypto and blockchain enthusiasts, metaverses, custodians, and more to progress its vision.
