  • Through the Web3 platform, users can learn, play and earn with Jambo vowing not to make deductions on a user’s earnings
  • Coinbase Ventures, Alameda and Tiger Global will fund the project

Jambo secures a $30M bid with the aim to spur the Web3 revolution in Africa. The Blockchain Web3 integrated platform will launch the Africa Dao Investment fund.

The fund will enable businesses to invest and allow for a decentralized system of reaching out to millions of people in Africa. The investment fund will bring together entities with a common vision and objective to positively impact the African economy at large.

The DRC-based company has its focuses on decentralizing access to a crypto-based income-generating space where businesses and entities can learn, play and earn from the crypto-based Web3 platform despite its disruptive protocols.

How will the expansion be achieved?

With the focus on financial work, Jambo’s personnel is expected to grow three times bigger by the end of the year. This will allow it to promote Web3 development in Africa. The funding will also aid in the expansion of Jambo with a targeted expansion rate of 15-20 more cities at the end of the year.

As a Web3 development startup, the company will be able to engage Web3 developers and engineers in building trade exchange platforms for crypto, design crypto games and Web3 Apps as well as buying and selling of Non Fungible Tokens.

According to the CEO, James Zhang, the company’s ambition to provide Web3 technology in Africa will be achieved through networks from grassroots levels of ambassadors at the community level. This has so far been achieved through the set-up of Jambo offices across the continent, especially in Central, East, and West Africa.

Jambo is set to increase its influence by partnering with big and classy internet cafes and innovation hubs. Colleges will also be included to provide students with access to high-speed internet and computers through the Super Web3 App.

Jambo reaches out to remote areas of Africa

Through the creation of Jambo Academies in different remote areas of Africa, the local people can be able to delve into Web3 technology. Capacity building will be essential in the rolling phase of the technology as people will need to be educated on how to use the Web3 Apps.

Jambo aspires to be the leading company in Africa in Web3 technology through the development of a Web3 user acquisition site. The site will link Africa to the various Web applications developed across the globe. Users in the Web3 platform will be able to save money on data after the enactment of a 70% discount to Telecom carriers and a 50% discount to subscribers.

This will in turn quadruple the output of every African’s data bundle and Airtime. Tokens can also be earned from the Web3 platform and can later be converted into money through social media content viewing. For the crypto games, users can play to earn and Jambo has vowed not to make any deductions on a user’s earnings.

Several blockchain entities came together for Jambo Academies

This initiative was spearheaded by Coinbase Ventures, Alameda and Tiger Global with other entities such as Delphi Ventures, Gemini Frontier, and BH Digital, among others, joining the initiative through investing in the project.

Most of these sponsors have also been seen backing the MARA platform. MARA  also managed to secure $23M which will be used to construct a range of products that will help Africans to leverage the opportunities that come with the crypto economy.

It is the rise of Web 3 developer units such as Jambo that contribute to the launching and sponsoring of exchange platforms like MARA, which have focused on enhancing crypto, blockchain, and web 3 adoptions in Africa.
